how to prepare your moves like a pro

today we’re going to talk to you about

moving your home office equipment

so typically home offices they have

telephones

they’ll have computers they’ll have

printers all sorts of electronic things

so we need to move them in such a way

that they arrive in good shape so we’re

there are very specific ways that we

handle these things so the first thing

we’re going to address is the CPU

put it on its side

re-wrap it

one time

we’ll wrap it a second time

and then we secure the paper which

protects it

and we can put the CPU in the Box

we slide it down there is cushion on the

box bottom to give it a little bit of

cushion so that it will move safely

so then we’ve got to figure out what we

want to put in next we always will take

the monitors off of their base

it would be and just very much like a TV

we’ll wrap it

and protect it

and we’ll slide that next to

the CPU

or fitted in the Box however we may be

able to

the

keyboard very much the same way

protect it put it in the Box

we’ll make sure that we include all

cables

in the box so that you’re not hunting

for them when you are ready

to put everything back together your

telephone

very much the same thing

we wrap it in paper to provide

protection

fit it in the box

and the base to the monitor but what we

will do then is we will take paper to

fill in any voids that way it secures

the pieces where they sit and if for any

reason the box is shaken

they will not move we’ll close our box

label it and take it to the truck we

will deliver it to your home and

everything in that home office will be
