Nevada is comprised of mostly desert areas, which means it is home to dangerous creatures such as rattlesnakes and scorpions. While most people will never encounter these creatures unless they go looking for them, spending any amount of time out in the desert will mean taking the necessary precautions. Minimizing exposed skin is one way to help you avoid deadly bites and stings.
